My Journey

I am a Physical Therapist holding a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy and a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science from Saint Louis University, with two decades of experience working in the Healthcare industry. I am currently licensed in the state of Pennsylvania and have also successfully practiced physical therapy in the states of Colorado, Arizona, and Washington. My interest has always centered around the human body and the complexities of its operation. I’ve naturally gravitated toward personal athletics and movements in a variety of forms—whether through team sports, tumbling, yoga, running and even rock climbing. Currently, I find balance in my life and body through yoga and with myofascial release. One constant in my own life, and a core belief of mine, is the importance of human movement. My personal goals align with those of my clients: to find a path toward movement in life without pain. My professional experience includes traditional post-acute rehabilitation and continuing care, with focus on patients experiencing significant pain and postural impairments related to failed surgeries, stoke (CVA), falls, orthopedic surgeries, chronic disease, trauma, or the effects of aging. Over the last 20 years, I found the significant co-dependent relationship of abnormal posture and pain regardless of the underlying medical diagnosis. I also strongly believe in the healing power of manual therapy. However, I often found that traditional approaches—such as aggressive soft tissue mobilization, joint manipulations, exercise, and therapeutic modalities—produced only temporary results, plateaus, or even regression over time. My quest for more effective solutions led me to the John F. Barnes Myofascial Release Approach®, which views the patient as a whole, nonlinear being highly affected by the three-dimensional web of fascia that encompasses every cell of the body. The solution to releasing the fascia and achieving long-term results lies in the body’s need for gentle, sustained pressure over time. I am grateful to be able to offer this holistic treatment method to my clients—one that gets to the root cause of your symptoms!

My Mission

Myofascial Release (MFR) is not a luxury–it’s a necessity. Just like you wouldn’t skip getting your hair done or going to the gym, myofascial release should be a regular part of your self-care routine. It’s about more than just feeling better physically. It’s about unlocking the tension in your body, restoring natural movement, and reconnecting with yourself on a deeper level.

Imagine waking up pain-free, moving with ease, and feeling more present in your life. That’s what myofascial release offers. It’s the answer to the nagging question: “Why don’t I feel like myself anymore?”

When you make myofascial release a priority, you’ll notice the change–and so will everyone around you. Your posture will improve, your mood will lift, and your energy will return. It’s not a chore–it becomes something you look forward to. A moment for yourself. A path back to wellness

This is my mission: to spread the word that Myofascial Release is the key to living fully, freely, and joyfully. Join me on this journey. You won’t regret it.
